Creating Actions

v1.0

Actions are Scriptable Objects, and the settings on the object becomes the default settings used, unless you override them in the Action Executor Inspector.

Most or all Actions have already been created for you, in the "Action Objects" folder β€” similar folders come with each Integrations.

You can create Actions using the Create --> Juicy Actions Browser menu. There is also a list of all Juicy Actions in the Create menu, but often it will be easier to use the Juicy Actions Browser.

Juicy Actions Browser

The Juicy Actions Browser window will display all actions available, and the "Create New" button will create a new object in the active Project folder.

The Search field allows you to narrow down the displayed Actions, and you can utilize the Category popup to select specific types of Actions.

Existing Scriptable Object Actions are displayed in the Existing column, with a button you can use to highlight them.

You can have any number of action objects based on the same Action. Some users may prefer to create individual objects for use cases that are repeated. Others may prefer to use a single object and override each on the Action Executor.
