The King is Dead!

As shown above, this condition will be met if the bool value of the Blackboard note is true.

Set the "Condition met if" value to false if you'd like the condition to be met when the value from the note is false.

If the Blackboard Note can not be found, the condition will not be met. The note must be found for the condition to be met.

This means that you do not have to worry about sending the note until the thing happens which would set the value, such as the king dying in the example above.
